Our team of skilled and certified Nissan technicians are experts in all things Nissan Murano, and will make sure it receives proper maintenance, so you can continue to conquer the streets of Marion, Herrin, and Carbondale, IL.
How Does a Maintenance Schedule Work?
Your Nissan Murano maintenance schedule is a collection of services that will be needed at certain mileage limits. Many of these services include routine maintenance, like oil changes and tire rotations, as well as inspections of many different components of the vehicle and replacement of these components when necessary.
The maintenance schedule goes by mileage intervals because everyone's commute and driving style is different. How often maintenance is needed and what is needed will be dependent on how often and far you drive.
The Nissan Murano Maintenance Schedule
- 5,000 miles: Your first service visit will see essential services, like an oil change and oil filter change performed. We'll inspect your brake pads and rotors, exhaust system, engine drive belt, hose, and air filters, suspension components, battery, and tire pressure, treadwear, and depth.
- 10,000 miles: Every service at 5,000 miles will be performed, as well as the replacement of brake fluid. You'll also have your horn, lights, signals, wipers, rear hatch, and all fluids inspected. If fluids need to be replaced, we will make sure to do that at this visit.
- 20,000 miles: This service visit will have many of the same services performed as previously listed, such as oil changes, tire rotations and many component inspections. Here, though, if your Nissan Murano is an all-wheel-drive (AWD) model, we'll replace the differential gear oil and the transfer case oil.
- 30,000 miles: At this service visit, we'll inspect your fuel tank vapor vent system, and fuel lines and connections. You'll have your engine air filter, in-cabin microfilter, and brake fluid replaced as well.
- 60,000 miles: At this time, routine maintenance services will be performed. We'll replace your brake fluid, CVT transmission fluid, and differential gear oil, and transfer case oil if it's an AWD model.
Benefits of Keeping Up With Your Maintenance Schedule
Due to the incredibly technical nature of some of these services needed, it's a good idea to have a certified Nissan technician at our service center perform these services on your Nissan Murano. Having a professional inspect your car is a huge benefit, as they can recommend any additional services needed.
